Create Your First Site

Follow this guide to create and publish your service business website in just 15 minutes.

This guide walks you through creating your first website, from sign-up to publishing. Most users complete this in 15 minutes or less.

Before You Start

Have these things ready:

  • Your business name and contact information
  • A list of services you offer
  • The cities or areas you serve
  • Any logo or photos you want to use (optional - you can add these later)

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Go to the sign-up page
  2. Enter your email and create a password (or sign up with Google)
  3. Check your email for a confirmation link
  4. Click the link to verify your account

You'll be taken to your dashboard automatically.

Step 2: Create a New Site

  1. Click the Create New Site button
  2. Enter a name for your site (usually your business name)
  3. Click Create Site

Step 3: Choose a Template

You'll see templates organized by trade:

  • Locksmith templates
  • Plumbing templates
  • HVAC templates
  • Electrical templates
  • General service templates

Click on a template to preview it, then click Use This Template when you find one you like.

Tip: Don't spend too long choosing - you can change templates later or customize extensively.

Step 4: Add Your Business Information

The editor opens with your template loaded. Start by adding your key information:

Contact Information

Click on the header area to edit:

  • Business name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Business hours

Services

Navigate to the Services section and add your offerings:

  • Service name
  • Brief description
  • Optional: starting price

Service Areas

Add the cities and neighborhoods you serve. This helps with local SEO.

About Section

Add a brief description of your business:

  • How long you've been in business
  • Certifications and licenses
  • What makes you different

Step 5: Customize the Design

Make the site your own:

Colors

Click Settings > Design to change:

  • Primary color (buttons, accents)
  • Background color
  • Text colors

Upload your logo in the header section. Recommended size: 200x80 pixels.

Photos

Replace placeholder images with:

  • Photos of your work
  • Team photos
  • Your service vehicle

No professional photos? That's okay for now - our stock images work fine until you have your own.

Step 6: Preview Your Site

Click the Preview button to see how your site looks:

  • Desktop view
  • Tablet view
  • Mobile view (most important!)

Check that:

  • Your phone number is correct
  • All text is readable
  • Images load properly
  • Links work

Step 7: Publish

When you're happy with your site:

  1. Click Publish
  2. Your site goes live on a free AstralDigital domain (yoursite.astraldigital.app)

Congratulations! Your website is now online and ready to attract customers.

To get the most from your site:

  1. Add your site to Google Business Profile - This helps local customers find you
  2. Share your website URL - Add it to your business cards, invoices, and social media
  3. Ask for reviews - Customer reviews displayed on your site build trust
